Today morning a Army camp at Kupwara was attacked by three militants in which three army personnel including Captain were killed.
The attack on the army camp took place at around 4 am this morning when at least two terrorists opened fire at personnel inside the artillery base. The terrorists, who were dressed in army fatigue, reportedly had weapons including AK-47s.
Sources said that in Anti terror operation two militants were shot dead while the search operation for third militant is on.
During anti terror operation around 200 protesters gathered at Army camp and demanded that the bodies of the terrorist be handed over to them. In order to control the crowd fire was opened by Army men in which one civilian died while many were injured.
Nine magazines, hand grenades, a matrix sheet and a smart phone were also recovered. No backpack was however found near the terrorists, which, sources said, could mean that they had detailed knowledge about the layout of the camp and knew exactly how they would get in.
