New Delhi: Anti-Ragging Mobile application introduced by the university Grants Commission (UGC) was launched by HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion HRD minister said, this mobile app will help students to register complaints to counter the menace of ragging.
"As per my experience, majority of senior students actually help guide their juniors and properly mentor them, but in few cases ragging happens. Ragging is an evil and this has to be eliminated from its roots in campuses," Javadekar said.
"Ragging is totally unacceptable, therefore this app will become a handy tool to any student who goes through such experience," he added.
