BHADERWAH: A Complete shutdown is being observed today by Muslim community in Bhaderwah town of Jammu and Kashmir's Doda district.
The shutdown, was called by Anjuman-e-Islamia against the killing of Hibul's Commander Sabzar Bhat and a civilian in Tral village of kashmir on 27th of May.
The shutdown is also being observed against the alleged provocative and irresponsible statements of both Union and State govt over Kashmir unrest.
Anjuman-e-Islamia Bhaderwah criticized the govt for not initiating any talk with leaders and instead coming up with provoking statements after killings in Kashmir.
"We want to convey to these hypocrites that Muslims of Jammu, especially entire Chenab Valley stand for the cause of Kashmir. By giving baseless and false statements, these pseudo nationalists with the help of some communal media are further aggravating the problem and unrest is fast spreading also In Chenab Valley," President Anjuman-e-Islamia Pervaiz Ahmed Sheikh said.
According to reports,shops and some private schools of the community remained closed while govt schools, offices and banks were functioning normally .
Meanwhile, authorities have made elaborate security arrangements in all the major towns of the districts ,including Doda,Thathri,Gandoh, Kahara amd Bhaderwah.
