Hunger Strike by Lecturers enters 27th Day

The hunger strike by contractual lecturers (10+2) enters 27th day but no response has been received from the govt.side till date . They have been demanding for their regularisation as per the Civil services Special Provision act 2010.
On the intervention of Hon'ble Dy.Chief Minister, The Hon'ble Divisional Commissioner called us in his office chamber and the deligation led by Arun Bakshi President of Association appraised the Divisional Commissioner about their problems and he paid patient hearing and assured them to take up the case with govt.at earliest
Moreover Mr Kavinder Gupta Hon'ble Speaker of J&K state interacted the Contractual Lecturers at Press club later on convened a meeting with the delegation of Contractual Lecturers at his official residence where he also gave a patient hearing to the problems of Contractual Lecturers and assured them to take up the case with Education Department and tried to settle the issue of the Contractual Lecturers.He has also called the delegation of Contractual Lecturers at his office chamber at civil secretariate on Monday.
One of the Senior contractual lecturer Mr. Vinod kumar is shifted to GMC Jammu on Thursday and continue on hunger strike but govt. never paid any attention towards the grievances of 10+2 Contractual Lecturers.
While addressing Arun Bakshi state President of (10+2) Contractual lecturers Forum said that govt.should avoid its apathetic attitude towords the Contractual Lecturers(10+2)and adopt sympathetic way to settle the problem of the highly educated Contractual Lecturers. Contractual lecturers (10+2) who are on hunger strike since 14th Feb. 2017.
They have been demanding for their regularization as per the civil services special provision act.2010, a policy framed for the regularization of all the ad-hoc/contractual/consolidated employees after rendering seven years of services.
Mr. Arun Bakshi state President of 10+2 Contractual lecturers Forum,he demanded that 10+2 lecturers are also contractual vide order no.1584-edu.of 2003 and vide order no.1328 of GAD.All the contractual lecturers are to be continued till further order.
Contractual Lecturers Reva Rani, Rajni Sharma, Azad Hussain Wani Bharat Dutt were also on chain hunger strike.They also threatened the govt.if their demands are not conceded at an earliest all of them will go for Fast Unto Death.
