Waqar wani - Locals with the help of Civil administration organised Langar at Seri(Ramban).Earlier same Langer was also organised at Chanderkote. The main aim of organising such Langer was to provide Food to stranded who are waiting for the clearance of National Highway which is blocked for last 5 days.
As we all know that last week Jammu and Kashmir faced continuous heavy rainfall, As a result National Highway (Jammu-Sringar) witness landslides at various places due to which Traffic movement was suspended by authorities at National Highway.
Many Times clearance work on road was done by authorities but continious landslides at Panthyal, and Mehar (Ramban) has made it difficult for authorities to throw the road open;Sources said . So, for last 1 week no traffic movement either from Jammu or from Srinagar is allowed, The stranded passengers are suffering at various unknown places. In this regard the common masses of Chanderkote and Seri has come forward and organized Langer at Seri and Chanderkote in order to serve the Humanity.

On one hand If we remember 2015 when same situation occurred The Restaurants in Ramban raised the price of Room and Food upto 100% and spattered the name of Distt Ramban .But in 2017 it looks like that Ramban is overhaul its mistake of 2015, said a reporter from Ramban. But on the other Hand Drivers of Tata Sumo and Auto Riksha yet has not stopped 100% increment in fare prices , Souces said to Jkrepublics.com that Some Drivers are charging 200% more fare price then actual fare price, It is shameful for authorities that such maltreatment is being done by such greedy Drivers in wide.
