Today Police public meeting was conducted by  SDPO Banihal Shri Dheraj Katoch along with SHO P/S Banihal  Nazir  Ahmed Dar with prominent citizens,Beopar-mandal Banihal town ,Transport union, Sarpanchs Lumberdars and Chowkidars of  Banihal area. in which more than 70 well versed persons  participated in today meeting.
The aim of the meeting was to strengthen the Police Public relations and to know about crime and security situation of Banihal .

In the meeting, all the participants appreciated this unique initiative taken by Ramban  Police and assured all help and assistance to police in tackling the crime in their respective areas.

They also put forth various public issues and problems being faced by the general public. Participants were assured by the chairperson that their genuine demands/issues will be taken up with concerned Departments for redressal and those pertaining to the Police Department would be considered on priority.

SDPO Banihal  appealed participants to give information to Police if any illegal activity is noticed by them and also to improve brotherhood and communal harmony in their respective areas.
