Yesterday at about 0500 hours, an reliable information received by JK police that at village Chachawa teh Gool one lady namely zulfa w/o of Gangi Ram is extracting and selling illicit liquor in her house.On this information I/C PP Ind along with police party conducted the raid in the house of zulfa w/o Gangi Ram and found that the said lady was busy in manufacturing illicit liquor, In raid police recovered three liters of illicit liquor, 17 litres of Lahan and other instruments used for the purpose of manufacturing illicit liquor from the possession of said lady. In this regard FIR no. 16 u/s 48(e) Excise Act got registered at PS Gool .The whole operation was conducted under the directions/supervision of DySP(Ops) Gool Sh Mohd Ameen Bhat and overall supervision of SSP Ramban Sh. Mohan lal.
