Officers of the Indian Administrative services to adopt a family of martyred soldiers of the Defense forces and the CAPF

PRESS RELEASE. 

1:- It was unanimously resolved by the association that the officer of Indian administrative service to adopt a family of the martyred soldier's of the defense force and the CAF and the state association have been asked to ensure immediate necessary action in this regard. We are requesting the state government and the Goal to issue necessary action to all concerned so that this arrangement get institutionalized at the earliest.

2:- India has been witnessing several attempt of terrorist attack In the past. Our defense force and the CAF have faced and thwarted several of these terror attack preventing major loss of lives and property. However several of our brave soldiers of our defense force and the CAF have lost their lives and martyred while performing their duties and serving our motherland.

3:- The martyrdom or our brave soldiers of our defense forces and CAPF have been recognized and eulogized across the country by all the sections of society. 
Both federal and state government have provided various kinds of assistance and support to the families and dependents of the martyred soldiers.

4:- 4.It would be in national interest that the civil servants pro actively contribute in this endeavor. The officers of the Indian Administrative services spread across the country and work on challenging assignments related to public services. This includes sub divisional magistrate, Additional district magistrate and District magistrate, then they serve in the state and as well as  union government on key policy making senior positions. The influence on the local administrative machinery wielded by them can be positively channelized to support and help the families of martyred soldiers in an effective and sustained manner.

5:- 5 It is proposed that each member of the Indian Administrative services will adopt one family of a martyred soldiers.
