RETIRED ARMY COLONEL DIED IN ACCIDENT
Jammu: A Swift Dezire car bearing registration number JK02BT 4164 collided with a scooty bearing registration number PB35E 6638 today at Kalibari (Kathua) near AK Gupta Hospital .
The accident took place around 1005 hrs in which an 80-year-old man lost his life.
According to reports scooty driver received a severe head injury and died on spot, while the car driver got minor injuries and was immediately shifted to the nearby Hospital.
The deceased has been identified as Retired Army Col Sangram Singh, R/o Shiva Nagar Kathua.Dead body of Col Sangram singh has been shifted to Distt Hospital Kathua.
People who witnessed the accident alleged that scooty driver took a wrong turn which caused the brutal accident. However, Jammu and Kashmir Police has reached the spot and investigation in this regard has begun.
