Pakistan : A resolution unanimously adopt by Punjab Assembly in Pakistan, condemns killing of Hizbul commander Sabzar Bhat.
Sabzar Bhat who succeeded Hizbul's Poster boy Burhan Wani last year, was killed in gunfight with security forces on Saturday.
As per the reports nine other militants were also killed on the same day ,which results clashes between people and security forces.
The resolution was tabled by Opposition Leader Mian Mahmoodur Rashid in the Punjab Assembly's Monday session.
The resolution demanded the federal government to immediately take up the issue of violence in Kashmir to the United Nations and requested the world body to intervene.
"This House shares the grief of the victim families, expresses solidarity with the Kashmiris," the resolution said.
The resolution requested UN to intervene in the issue and stop the bloodshed in the valley.
Mian Mahmoodur also demanded removal of Pakistan Kashmir Committee chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman for doing no service to the Kashmir cause.
"The federal government is spending Rs 2 billion annually on the Kashmir Committe which has completely failed," he said.
