Doda, May 30: Young Star Cricket Club (YSCC) Doda on Monday held a meeting of its members at Doda which was chaired by its Patron Manzoor Ahmed Batt.
In the meeting, all the members of YSCC Doda expressed their gratitude and thanked Honble MOS for Sports Sh Sunil Sharma for announcing Rs 30 Lacs forthe construction of sheds overs stairs (stand) for the Sports Stadium Doda.
It is to mention here that, in a Annual Day Function of GMHSS Doda held at Doda, a representation cum request was made by YSCC Doda before Honble Sports Minister Sh Sunil Sharma for construction of the same for the convenience of local cricketers and after hearing YSCC Doda patiently, the Honble MOS for Sports Sh Sunil Sharma announced Rs 30 Lacs for its construction.
The YSCC Doda on behalf of public of Doda particularly youth thanked Sh Sunil Sharma for announcing such amount which would surely make convenient to all spectators/audience from scorching heat while watching any event.
They further said that youth of Doda region are full of talent and they can prove mettle in any field as the only need is to provide them better infrastructure and platform to show their hidden talent, adding that such announcement by Sh Sunil Sharma will surely encourage the budding youth of this region.
Those present in the meeting were Naseer Khora, Faizan A Tramboo and Syed Nasir Shah.
