Kashmir:- The government imposed ban on social media website like facebook and twitter has entered its third week. This ban has severely affected kashmiri students, media men and employees.
After ban people in Kashmir started accessing social media through VPN applications but one after another they were blocked too and sufferings of people increased.
To overcome the impact of social media ban in Valley a 16-year-old boy from Anantnag district of Kashmir who has just finished his 10th standard exams has come up with a Valley's own Social Networking website "Kashbook".
The 16-year-old Zeyan along with 19-year-old friend Uzair Jan from Anantnag has alao developed an android application version for 'Kashbook', which has been downloaded by hundreds of people till now.
'Kashbook' is somehow similar to Facebook , one can add people as friend and can also chat with them. It also has an additional feature that is market for buying and selling. "We will use it to promote trade of kashmiri goods outside the Valley," said Zeyan.
