Sangaldan:-Block Development Department Officer launched a special drive against the use of Polythene in Sangaldan area of District Ramban.
As a part of Swach Bharat Abhiyan which whole India is observing since 11 may, BDO Sangaldan launched a special drive against the use of Polythene.
BDO visits Sangaldan market and fined (Challan) those shopkeepers who were found using polythene.
BDO, who was accompanied by other officials while addressing people said that whole India is observing Swach Bharat Abhiyan since 11 may and they are also observing it in their Block. They also took pledge not to use polythene and spreading the message of PM Modi to gross root level about Polythene's hazardous use.
BDO Sangaldan urged people, not to use polythene bags but to carry bags made of cloth or paper for the purpose.
