Jammu and Kashmir:- Hunger Strike of Contractual Lecturers enters 92nd day. Contractual Lecturers (10+2) who are demanding their regularization are on Hunger strike for last 92 days.
Contractual Lecturers are demanding their regularization as per the Civil Services Special Provision Act 2010 , a policy framed for the regularization of all the Contractual Consolidated employees after rendering seven years of services.
The angry protesters strongly condemned the State Govt for unnecessarily delaying decisions over their demands. They raised slogans against govt and also torched a effigy of State Government and vowed to continue their struggle till demands are conceded.

Arun Bakshi president of Contractual Lecturers (10+2) Association and Jeevan Kumar general secretary alleged that the Government did nothing for them except providing lip service and only assurances.
