Kashmir: Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF),Mohammad Yasin Malik has been arrested by Police here on Sunday.
According to reports, On saturday, JKLF chairman Mobammad Yasin Malik visited Ratsuna Village of South Kashmir to meet the family members of Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) commandar Sabzar Bhat and Faizan Ahmed who were killed in a gunfight with Indian forces in Saimoh village.
"In order to maintain the law and order in valley and to curb violence, JKLF chairman, Mohammad Yasin Malik was arrested by police on Saturday," sources said.
"Yasin has been arrested from his uptown Maisuma locality home and he has been shifted to the central jail," sources added.
After the Killing of commander Sabzar Bhat who, succeeded Hizbul's poster boy Burhan Wani in 2016, violence occurred in different places of Valley.
Clashes between people and security forces were reported from many areas yesterday in which more than 80 people were injured.
