RAMBAN June 08: Officers and officials of Revenue Department Ramban today accorded a warm farewell to the Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mohammad Aijaz (IAS) on his transfer as DC Shopain on Friday.
Similar farewell party accorded to DC on yesterday by the members of civil society of district Ramban. The members included Imtiyaz Shan, Arif Wani, Hukum Chand, shoket Mugal and several other prominent citizens of Ramban. Each of them stressed that the transfer of Mohammad Aijaz is unfortunate for people of Ramban. They emphasised that during his one year stint the DDC made untiring efforts especially to help the poor and needy people of Ramban. The developmental works had picked up an amazing pace. His transfer is undoubtedly a loss to district Ramban.
Speaking on the occasion the outgoing DC Aijaz lauded the role of officers and people of different sections for their support during his tenure as DC Ramban.
He said that developing the district on modern lines was on his priority and appealed the team of officers to continue the pace of development and help uplift the poor people. DDC Ramban further thanked the people of Ramban for extending their cooperation and support.
Speaking on the occasion, officers of Revnue Department, district administration and members of civil society lauded the contribution of DC, Mohammad Aijaz for initiating massive development process in the district. ADDC, ADC, ASP, ACR, CPO, SDM Banihal, Tehsildars and officers of other department also spoke on the occasion.
