All India Students Federation (AISF) J&K State Council strongly condemn lathi charge on Banaras Hindu University (BSU) students.
Mukesh Parihar, National Council Member of AISF said " yesterday a girl of BHU chopped her hair in protest of University Administration and on the second day (Sunday) many girls were beaten up by Police of Uttar Pardesh".
He also warned the Police and University Administration to stop eye teasing on girls.
He condemns the lathicharge on protesting girl students for their security and safety at Banaras Hindu University. The university administration is very insensitive to their demands for security. This has happened when Prime Minister of India was on visit to his constituency. The UP government and the UP police should have been taking to these girl students of BHU. Why the Government of India is not taking report from the BHU VC and the UP government against the unwarranted lathicharge on the girl students of BHU. Did UP government and UP police have ever arrested any molester of these daughters of India. We demand an immediate action against all those who are responsible for this not only lathicharge which causes injuries to lot many BHU girl students but also on those who are responsible for very indecent acts in front of girl students at BHU.
