Kishtwar September 24: As a part of special drive against drug peddling and its use by Doda Police today on 24.09.2017 when police team of Police Station Doda led by SI Ashiq Hussain and SHO P/S Doda, Inspr. Bishnesh Kumar under the supervision of Dy. SP Hqrs. Doda Shri Iftkhar Ahmed started naka checking at Akramabad area and arrested a drug peddler namely Rashid Hussain S/o Abdul Majeed Shah R/o Sad eeqabad Doda and recovered ½ Kg. of Cannabis (Charas) from his possession. In this regard, case FIR No. 201/2017 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act. stands registered at Police Station Doda and further investigation is going on to ascertain his links with other drug peddlers. Locals of the area appreciated the role of Doda police.
