Principal Session Judge Ramban granted bail to a government teacher accused of rape.
According to prosecution, one Zaffar Hayat son of Gulam Mohammad Sohil resident of Zanchoss Chambalwass Tehsil Banihal a teacher by profession was accused of committing rape and was booked by the Banihal Police vide FIR number 97 0f 2016 under section 376/342 RPC.
He was arrested on 21-07 2016 by the police for forcibly taking the prosecutrix inside a room of the School situated at Zanchoss Chambalwass tehsil Banihal and allegedly committed rape upon her.
After completing the investigation the Challan was produced on 27-05-2017 in the court of Principal Session Judge Ramban.
After listening arguments and counter arguments from Public Prosecutor BS Bali and defense lawyer TH Malik, the court admitted the bail application and granted interim bail.
