Today on directions of SSP Ramban Sh. Mohan Lal a Volley Ball Tournament was organized by Ramban Police at Govt Model Higher Secondary School Gool under Civic Action Programme 2017-18.In this tournament 09 teams from Gool, Dharam, Sangaldan, Ramban and Banihal participated.
Final match of tournament was played between Ramban B and Mahakund A which was won by Ramban B. A large number of peoples were present on the occasion to witnesses the event. The event was inaugurated by DySP Mohd. Ameen Bhat SDPO Gool who in his inaugural speech expressed that main objective of organizing such events under CAP was to bridge the gap between Police and Public and to channelize the energy of youths towards sports and constructive activities and to remain always from drugs and other anti social activities. Principal higher secondary School Sh.Nana Ji Tickoo was the guest of honour. All the arrangements were done by SHO Gool inspector Suhail Rashid which was appreciated by all spectators.
The teams were awarded with trophy alongwith cash prizes and sports kits.Refreshment including lunch were also served among all participating players. Many locals and prominent civil society members thanked Ramban police for organising such tournaments in Gool area and also requested to organise such tournaments in future also.
