Ramban :November 21:- Police learnt from reliable source that on 19-11-2017 one Abdul Majeed S/O Mukhta Age 70yrs R/o Chabba Dhamote was attacked with Axe in criminal intentiont to kill him by his son Nazir Ahmed @Najja at his residential house and recieved grievous injury on his head ... subsequently the injured was shifted to DH Ramban for treatment where from on same dated after giving first aid referred to GMC Jammu where the injured succumed to his injuries. Now deadbody brought to DH ramban . Accordingly Police has registered a case 167/2017 U/s 302 rpc at Police station ramban ,investigation taken up.
In the meantime police team led by Dysp headquaters ramban along with I/c SHO ramban visited crime spot ,recovered weapon of offence (Axe) ,collect blood stains ,clay from the spot and conduted other legal formalities.
After conducting postmortem at Distt hospital ramban deadbody has been handed over to legal heirs for last rites investigation going on.
